Heiress Sunny Von Bulow (Glenn Close) remains in an irreversible coma since 1980. Her husband, Claus (Jeramy Irons) was found guilty of attempted murder by insulin injection. He appealed the verdict successfully by hiring Alan Dershowitz (Ron Silver), the flamboyantHarvard law professor, to defend him. Dershowitz's job was to discredit the circumstantial evidence used to convict Von Bulow, and with the help of his brightest law students, he does exactly that, Irons is fantastic as the elegant and arrogant Von Bulow, who is his own worse enemy by appearing so aloof that even his own lawyer doubts his innocence,The film doesn't attempt to convince the audience of his innocence, it just gives you some other possibilities.
