This is a weak comedy based on bathroom humor. It will please the youngsters but repel adults. Jokes about dripping noses, passing gas, big hooters and "head lights" proliferate the script.

Harry Dunn (Jeff Daniels) and his buddy, Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey), manage to become involved in a kidnapping ransom. Mary Swanson's (Lauren Holly) husband has been kidnapped and she loses the briefcase full of money for the kidnappers. Dumb Lloyd Christmas finds it and falls in love with Mary. Lloyd and Harry decide to travel to Aspen to return the briefcase. They're so dumb they don't even look in the briefcase to see what is inside. The kidnappers chase the two across the country. By the time they arrive in Aspen they are respected by the kidnappers because the accidentally killed one of the gang.

Comedy has to be creative and interesting, this is at the level of a bathroom wall in an eighth grade school house.
