In this sequel to the wildly successsful Die Hard, Bruce Willis, as LAPD Lieutenant John McClane, again has to save the world from terrorists.

McClane is at Washingyon D.C.'s Dulles International Airport to pick up his wif (Bonnie Bedelia) who is arriving during a Christmas snow storm. While waiting for her plane to land, he observes a suspicious looking man going into th restricted baggafe area. McClane pursues, and the body count begins

In the meantime, deposed Central American leader Esperanza has been extradited to America to stand trial and is due to land at Dulles also. His followers, headed by a psychotic former United States Colonel (nicely played by William Sadler) take over the aiarport control tower. They turn off the landing lights and stop communication with all incoming flights. Planes already in lnading patterns are left to circle Dulles losing precious fuell, without a clue as to what is going on below.

McClane not only has to fight the enemy in this film but also th head of airport security, the manager of the control tower, and the SWAT team leader, all who think of him as a loose cannon.

The action starts as soon as the title rolls and never lets up. McClane is battered, bruised, shot at, thrown off the wing of a moving plane, and still comes back for more.

This film has nothing to analyze, no answers to come up with; it's just a non-stop, edge-of-your-seat summer thriller.
